Fort Kearny State Historical Park is celebrating our nation's freedom by bring the past to present day. Revisit our past with re-enactors from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm demonstrating a typical day a the fort. At 2:00 p.m. both days the firing of the cannon will take place. Woodcarving and pine needle basket demonstrations will also be onsite provided by the Central Nebraska Woodcavers.
